(SAN ANTONIO, TX - August 3, 2015) CHICAGIRL Magazine is pleased to announce the release of its new apparel division, SCHOLAR SOX, at their Pink Carpet 'Back to School' Trunk Show at Moda Mia Boutique on Saturday, August 8, 2015. SCHOLAR SOX are super cute knee-high socks with bows...a smart & fashionable way to support education! We give back a portion of all our proceeds to scholarships with our SCHOLAR SOX for Education Program. SCHOLAR SOX dedicates itself to ensuring that all students have access to education by providing scholarships for pre-K through high school students. What a great idea! Look fashionable, while giving back to education.

SCHOLARSOX.com officially went live in January of this year and has been creating quite the buzz in both the fashion industry and the school scene. SCHOLAR SOX are playful knee-high socks with bows and are perfect for school, dance, softball, cheerleading and so much more. We chose the name “SCHOLAR” SOX because it perfectly reflects both our unique product and our mission of awarding “SCHOLAR”ships every year though our SCHOLAR SOX for Education Program.

SCHOLAR SOX has already made a strong impact on the local community. We were so honored to award our first check on July 2, 2015 to Hope for the Future, a non-profit organization in San Antonio, Texas. SCHOLAR SOX is dedicated to awarding scholarships every year to help young students in their pursuit of high quality education.

"Through CHICAGIRL Magazine we've been awarding college scholarships for eight years and with SCHOLAR SOX, we're extending our reach," says Senior VP Mei-Lon Jimenez. "We recognize that the foundation that leads to success in higher education is built early and we want to help young students build on that foundation. We couldn't be more excited about the public debut of SCHOLAR SOX at our upcoming trunk show."

Please join us at the trunk show on Saturday August 8, 2015 at Moda Mia Boutique to pick out your SCHOLAR SOX, and visit www.SCHOLARSOX.com for information about future events and our upcoming “Fashion Show” launch party coming soon. (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram: @scholarsox)
